After identifying the need to propel the Aviation industry in Belize forward, Mike Garman, Terry Folsom, and Chelsea Bichekas, in collaboration with Vern Garman, embarked on the decision to establish an Aircraft Engineering Support and Certification company in Belize.
The birth of Deep Blue Avionics LTD aimed to foster the growth of aviation in Belize while establishing a global presence for the country. The name itself draws inspiration from the magnificent Great Blue Hole, a renowned diving destination that is within the expansive Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System.
The original logo was created by Chelsea’s daughter who is an acclaimed graphic artist. The image was created to align with the culture, land and seascape, incorporating the aircraft-type most recognized with aviation in region.
In partnership with FUEL Branding, a new logo was born, instantly recognizable as an aircraft propeller at first glance. However, upon closer inspection, one can discern the intricate depiction of the Keel-Billed Toucan, Belize’s national bird. This vibrant and captivating image not only celebrates the rich multicultural history of the country but also pays tribute to our unwavering passion for aircraft and aviation.
